Kangra: Kàngra BJP MLA Pawan Kajal said on Tuesday that the decades-old drinking water problem of Dhugiyari has been resolved.
Rs. 18 crore new drinking water supply scheme has been prepared for Palam area. The trial run of the scheme has also been done. This scheme will be dedicated to the public after the month of March.
MLA Pawan Kajal, who reached the closing ceremony of the cricket tournament organized at Harni Panchayat of Dhugiari village, said that Dhugiari Panchayat has also been included in the new drinking water scheme. He said that with this, the people of the village will get smooth drinking water facility so that they do not have to wonder far away for water problems.
MLA Kajal said that youth in rural areas are becoming a source of inspiration for the new generation by promoting sports. This will save the youth from falling into the clutches of drugs. He announced that he would give a cash prize of one lakh on his behalf to the youth of Kangra district who would participate in the national competition.
Sakoh Cricket Club defeated Dhugiari Club in the tournament. MLA Kajal honored the winning and runner up teams. On this occasion, members of Harni Youth Club Sagar, Sahil, Sourav, Shubham, Nikhil, Dinesh, Rahul, Ravikant former head, Pradeep former deputy head, Dinesh etc. were present.
