Record 3,377 buyer-seller meetings at Odisha Travel Bazar

Bhubaneswar: A record 3,377 buyer-seller meetings have been organized on the concluding day of the three-day Odisha Travel Bazar 2022 held at Bhubaneswar on Sunday.

The Travel Bazar was organized jointly by Odisha Tourism Department and FICCI.

During the three-day event, tour operators visited places like Bhubaneswar, Konark, Puri, Chilika, Dhauli, Bhitarkanika, and Lalitgiri as part of FAM trips.

B2G meetings with investors and Airlines were also organized. Sellers also participated and exhibited their products in the exhibition.

Around 22 tour operators from countries like Bangladesh, Indonesia, Malaysia, Nepal, Singapore, Tanzania, Thailand, Vietnam, and 83 buyers from cities like Aurangabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chandrapur, Chennai, Dehradun, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kochi, Kolkata, Ludhiana, Mangalgiri, Mumbai, Nagpur, Nasik, New Delhi, and NCR, Panjim, Pune, Raipur, Rohtak, Siliguri, Surendra Nagar, Trivandrum, Varanasi, and Visakhapatnam participated in the event.

Inaugurating the travel Bazar, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik said the state government has identified 17 places for encompassing beaches, biodiversity zones, heritage monuments, and areas of religious and cultural importance for integrated master-planning-based development.
