Imphal: A powerful bomb weighing about 4 kilos was found at Singjamei Chinga Makha here on Thursday.
Manipur Police bomb squad personnel rushed and safely detonated it.
The entire area had to be cordoned off and vehicles stopped to ensure the safety of people.
Police said it was not yet known who was responsible for planting the bomb. A probe was initiated by the police.
