Imphal: In the last 24 hours leading up to 5 pm of Tuesday, two persons tested positive and 10 persons recovered in Manipur. During the same period, there was no report of any Covid-related death in the State, as per an official release from the Health Department.
The two persons who tested positive are from Churachandpur and Imphal West respectively. Altogether, 286 persons were tested amounting to a positivity rate of 0.7 %.
The cumulative number of positive cases in the state now stands at 1, 39, 744 of which 1, 37,542 have recovered leaving 54 active cases in the state.
As on September 5, 2022, 44 D-type oxygen cylinders and 12 B-type oxygen cylinders have been made available at different health facilities in Manipur.
The status of Covid Hospital facilities in the state as on September 6, 2022, is as follows: JNIMS has a total of 38 beds out of which seven are occupied and 31 are vacant. RIMS has a total of 62 beds out of which one is occupied and 61 are vacant.
The total number of doses administered on September 5, is 1,633, the cumulative number of doses administered is 31,93,109(1st dose 16,34,176, 2nd dose 13,08,803) and precautionary dose is 2,50,130.
