PK cites four reasons behind victory of BJP

Kishore said perception that image of India had greatly improved under the regime of Prime Minister Modi. People were thinking that India would become " Vishwa Guru" under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi which was a feeling a neo nationalism, he added.

Patna: Founder of “Jan Suraj” and noted poll strategist Prashant Kishore on Monday said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was not the only reason behind splendid victory of BJP in three states but four other factors including Hindutva and better organisational structures also helped the party in attaining the feat.

Kishore told media persons here that there was general perception that Prime Minister Modi was the main reason behind splendid victory of BJP in three states but other factors also had its role. Four other factors- Hindutva, Neo nationalism, better delivery of government welfare schemes and strong organisational strength had also helped BJP in emerging vctorious in assembly elections in three states including Chhatisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, he added.

Poll strategist said that a large number of people voted for BJP for its Hindutva ideology. They strongly believed in Hindutva ideology of BJP, he added.

” If you are in power, you would have to ensure better delivery of government welfare schemes so that people could have faith in you”, poll strategist said adding that without performing better, no government could think of retaining power.Better organisational structure of BJP was its strong strength which could easily beat Congress having no such organisational structure, he further added.

Kishore said that Congress would not be able to challenge BJP unless it improved its organisational structure. He refused to give credit to Congress in Telengana and Karnataka, saying it was effect of anti-incumbency factor.
