Physical assessment camp for PwDs held in Kakching district

Kakching: An assessment camp for persons with disabilities under UDID project for online Disability certificate was successfully held today at JNNURM Hall, Kakching Sumak Leikai, Kakching district under DSWO, Kakching on Monday.

The physical assessment camp was organized by the Social Welfare Department, Govt. of Manipur in collaboration with Chief Medical Officer, Kakching and Chief Medical Officer, Thoubal.

As many as 106 persons with various disabilities turned up for the camp which included, 3 Multiple disabilities, 19 hearing impairment, 13 visual impairment, 22 Intellectual disability, 12 Mental illness and 37 Locomotors disability.

 UDID assessment was done thoroughly and certificates to the deserving PwDs will be issued at the earliest informed DSWO, Kakching.
