Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Wednesday inaugurated the new office building of the West Kameng district Superintendent of Police at the district headquarters, Bomdila.
Chief Secretary Dharmendra, DGP Satish Golchha and other dignitaries were present during the programme, official sources said.
On the occasion, the Chief Minister also gave away commendation certificates to the cops for their meritorious services. He appreciated them for their dedication and good work.
“I sincerely believe good infrastructure and a motivating ambiance have an important role in creating an effective policing ecosystem. Appreciate the good works being done by cops. Best wishes to them,” Khandu said in a tweet.
Also present on the occasion were legislators Phurpa Tsering, Kumsi Sidisow, Dongru Siongju and Dorjee Wangdi Kharma, West Kameng DC Karma Leki, SP B Bharat Reddy, administrative officers and district head of departments, the sources added.
