Bhubaneswar: Nabin Odisha and 5T Chairman V K Pandian on Saturday directed officials to expedite the Sri Mandir Corridor project work and complete it by December 15 next.
After reviewing the progress of the work in the wee hours of Saturday for over two hours with Puri District Collector, SP, Odisha Bridge Construction Corporation Managing Director, and officials of various executive agencies, Pandian said it would give a new feeling to devotees in the new year.
He directed to expedite the renovation work of various Mathas and advised officials to plant trees associated with Jaganath culture for the landscaping of the corridor project and make adequate arrangements for parking of two-wheelers for the convenience of the local people.
During the discussion with the officials, Pandian stressed the transfer of various utilities close to the Meghanad Pacheri and completing the electrification work of the corridor project on time.
The Nabin Odisha Chairman also advised engaging more people for the timely completion of Jaganath Ballav parking, the development of various projects being undertaken for providing facilities to visitors, the amusement park, and Sri Kshetra Setu.
