Itanagar: As many as 65 people, including seven security personnel, have tested positive for Covid-19 in Arunachal Pradesh in the past 24 hours, taking the state’s caseload to 17,052.
As per the bulletin issued by the State Directorate of Health Services, of the new cases, 31 were reported from Itanagar Capital Complex, seven from West Kameng, five each from Papum Pare and Lower Dibang Valley, four each from East Siang, Leparada and Lower Subansiri, two from Tawang, one each from Namsai, Lohit and Changlang.
Out of the 65 patients, 45 are symptomatic and 20 symptomatic.
On a positive note, 11 patients were discharged following recovery from the virus, taking the total recoveries to 16,820.
The active case stood at 176. Death toll at 56.
