Outreach programme held on the run up to Int’l Yoga Day

As a part of the programme, Elocution contest and on the spot quiz on yoga was heldĀ andĀ prizes and certificates were distributed to the audience present.

Imphal: An Integrated Communication and Outreach Programme on the run up to the International Day of Yoga, 2022 was organised by the Regional Outreach Bureau, Imphal, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India at Ibotombi Institute of Education, Imphal Friday.

The event was presided by Principal, Ibotombi Institute of Education, Imphal, Dr. R.K. Bijen Singh.Ā 

Assistant Professor, Department of Yoga and Physical Education, Manipur International University, Imphal, Dr. Khadangbam Mukta Singh,Ā led the audience in performing Common Yoga Protocol (CYP). Speaking as resource person, Assistant Professor, Department of Physical Education, Ibotombi Institute of Education, Dr. Cherish Salam, Imphal elaborately explained the benefits of practicing yoga.Ā 

As a part of the programme, Elocution contest and on the spot quiz on yoga was heldĀ andĀ prizes and certificates were distributed to the audience present.Ā Private Registered Troupes of ROB, ImphalĀ namelyĀ Mass Theatre Manipur, Paona Bazar, ImphalĀ performed a drama related with yoga.

Head of Office, Regional Outreach Bureau, Imphal, Dr. Aribam Ibomcha Sharma, teaching staffs ofĀ Ibotombi Institute of Education, ImphalĀ also attended the event amongst others, as per a press note issued by the programme-in-charge, Thokchom Anthony.Ā
