Order inducting 8 new members to Hill Areas Committee withdrawn

Imphal: The Speaker of the Manipur Legislative Assembly, in an order issued on Wednesday, has withdrawn with immediate effect the order issued on September 1, 2021 inducting MLAs representing 9 Assembly constituencies to the Hill Areas Committee.

As per the order this follows the submission of application by the 8 newly inducted members, and “also to facilitate better understanding amongst all the stakeholders in this matter”.
