Imphal: The online registration period for joining the Indian Army as an Agniveer has been extended by five days up to March 20, 2023. Earlier, the last date for registration was March 15, 2023.
Candidates can register themselves using their Aadhar cards or 10th grade certificates. Registration charges for the recruitment are Rs 500; however, during the registration, a candidate is required to pay only Rs 250 using UPI, a credit card, a debit card, or internet banking. The Indian Army will pay the balance of Rs 250 on behalf of each candidate. Candidates must have an activated debit card for online transactions.
During the first stage of recruitment, all registered candidates will need to undergo an online Common Entrance Examination (CEE) at the chosen examination centre. There are two examination centers in Nagaland and three examination centers in Manipur.
Indian Army has granted substantial bonus marks for sportsmen, NCC certificate holders, and ITI-qualified candidates in the selection.
