Imphal: In the border town of Moreh in Tengnoupal district, one person was killed and another was injured by gunfire on Friday night.
A manhunt has been launched to find those involved in the incident.
The deceased has been identified as Raj Gajmir and the injured have been identified as Md Mubarak.
The area was tense on Saturday and some persons tried to attack the house of a suspect identified as Md Daulat.
Moreh Police has started a probe into the incident.
