One more Omicron case reported in Kerala, total cases rise to 38

Thiruvananthapuram: One more person tested positive for the Omicron variant of COVID-19 on Saturday taking the total cases to 38 in Kerala so far, Health Minister Veena George said.

The new case was identified as a 58-year-old man hailing from Kannur, who was already in quarantine after he came into contact with a student staying near to his house.

Meanwhile, a person in Malappuram was discharged from the hospital after he tested negative to the Omicron today, the Minister said in a press release.
