Observers take stock of poll preparedness in Thoubal & Kakching dists

It may be mentioned  that Assembly Election for the 10 Assembly Constituencies of Thoubal & Kakching will be held on of March   5 as per revised schedule of Election Commission of India.

Thoubal: The team of Observers including General, Expenditure and Police Observers took stock of poll preparedness in Thoubal & Kakching Districts for the upcoming 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly Election 2022.

During the meeting held Wednesday at the Conference Hall of Deputy Commissioner, Thoubal, Sheo Kumar Ram; Ashis Kumar, General Observers; Manishkumar Gupta, Expenditure Observer of 30-Lilong, 31-Thoubal & 32- Wangkhem, Kapil Dev Meena, Expenditure Observer for 33-Heirok, 34-Wangjing Tentha &35 Khangabok and Dev Prakash Barmanavat, Expenditure Observer for 36 -Wabagai, 37-Kakching,38-Hiyanglam &39-Sugnoo and Dr.Anirban Ray, IPS, Police Observer for 10 ACs attended the meeting.  A.Subhash Singh,DEO/DC,THOUBAL, SP Thoubal Jogeshchandra Haobijam, SP Kakching Shreya Vats, , ROs and District Nodal Officers were also present in the meeting. 

In the meeting, the Observers reviewed the poll preparedness in these Districts.

A. Subhas Singh informed the Observers team that a 24×7 working Police Control  Room  and District Contact Center & Complaint Monitoring Center have been set up. For the upcoming election the polling personnel will be dispatch from three different places. Polling Personnel for Thoubal, Heirok and Wangjing Tentha ACs will be dispatched from Mini Secretariat, DC Complex Thoubal. BASU Ground will be the dispersal point for Wabagai, Kakching, Hiyanglam and Sugnoo ACs while polling personnel for Wangkhem, Khangabok and Lilong will be dispersed from Chaoyaima Higher Secondary ground.
