Ukhrul: In view of the upcoming general election to the 12th Manipur State Assembly Election 2022, RO for Phungyar & Chingai Assembly Constituencies Chunglenmang Kipgen, ADM Ukhrul District Headquarter has received the first nomination papers from Awung Shimray Hopingson, BJP Candidate from 43 – Phungyar (S/T) A/C at 01:00pm Monday.
Ukhrul & Kamjong Districts having three assembly constituencies i.e. 43-Phungyar (S/T) A/C, 44-Ukhrul (S/T) A/C and 45-Chingai (S/T) A/C will receive nomination papers till 03:00pm of 11th February and scrutiny of nomination papers will be held on 14th February 2022.
Last date of withdrawal of candidature will be on 16th February 2022. The three constituencies are scheduled for the second phase of election on 3rd March 2022.
The DEO, Ukhrul & Kamjong is estimated to deploy 1533 polling officers for the 219 polling
