Imphal: Continuing with the trend in the last few days, Manipur saw no deaths due to Covid-19 in the last 24 hours leading up to 5 pm of Friday. During the same period, 6 persons (4 males 2 females) from the general population and 1 personnel of Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) tested positive, as per an official release from the Covid-19 Common Control Room.
The 6 positive persons (4 males and 2 females) from the general population who test positive include 4 from Imphal West and 2 from Churachandpur. All necessary medical precautionary measures like containment and contact tracing are in place.
Meanwhile, 10 persons recovered and were discharged, 3 of them from home isolation and 1 each from JNIMS and SHRI.
The cumulative number of positive cases is 29,260 (General Population — 25,827 and Central Security Personnel — 3,433). The cumulative number of recovered cases is 28,850(General Population — 25,433 and CAPF— 3,417). The number of active cases is 37 (general population 25 and CAPF 11). The recovery rate is 98.59 %.

There are no severe reaction/allergies, adverse event following immunization (AEFI) till date. There were 47 mild reactions who were on home care and all of them are now fully recovered, the release added.
