Kohima: Nagaland on Tuesday reported 16 new covid positive cases in the past 24 hours taking the total tally in the state to 35,709 with a total of 101 active cases.
With the report of no more patients succumbing to the coronavirus in the state, the total death toll remained at 762.
According to the official bulletin on Tuesday, the fresh 16 COVID case was reported on Monday with six cases reported in Dimapur, four in Kohima, four in Wokha, one in Mokokchung, and one in Mon, out of 449 suspected samples in the state.
On the recovery front, seven patients were recovered, out of the five from Kohima, one in Longleng and one in Wokha and the cumulative recoveries of the state also increased to 33,335. The total number of active cases increased to 101, the report added.
