Nagaland records 8 new COVID positive cases

With no more reports of the death of COVID patients, the death tally remained at 696 yesterday, the bulletin said.

Kohima: In the latest COVID-19 situation in Nagaland, the number has recorded eight new cases yesterday, which increased the total number of corona virus-infected cases to 32,068 so far and with no report of death in the pandemic, the death toll remained at 696.

According to a Nagaland Health Department bulletin today, as there are eight fresh COVID cases yesterday in three districts, out of which five cases were reported in Dimapur, two cases in Kohima and one in Mokokchung, taking the total caseload to 32068.

On the recovery of COVID-19 infected patients in the State, seven patients were recovered of the disease yesterday, taking the total number of recoveries to 30,186 with a recovery rate of 94.13 per cent.

Nagaland has currently 126 active cases of COVID-19, out of the 98 patients were asymptomatic, 18 were mild symptoms, two were moderate symptoms, one was severe and two others were on ventilators in the ICU. With no more reports of the death of COVID patients, the death tally remained at 696 yesterday, the bulletin said.
