Kohima: In the latest COVID-19 situation in Nagaland, the number has increased to 58 new cases yesterday, which increased the total number of corona virus-infected cases to 31,027 so far and with one more death, the death toll rose up to 661.
According to a Nagaland Health Department bulletin today, among the 37 fresh COVID cases yesterday, the new cases were detected from five districts of Nagaland with 46 cases in Dimapur, eighth in Kohima, two in Kiphire one in Mokokchung and one in Phek, taking the total caseload to 31085.
On the recovery of COVID-19 patients in the State, 45 COVID patients were recovered yesterday, out of them 18 patients from Dimapur, 16 patients from Kohima, seven from Phek, two from Mokokchung and two from Zunheboto, with these the total recoveries in the state stood at 28,980, with a recovery rate of 93.22 per cent.
In the state currently have 474 active cases in the state out of which 368 are asymptomatic, a total of 86 cases are mild symptomatic, five are moderate on oxygen, 10 severe symptoms, two are receiving oxygen support, three are admitted in ICUs without ventilator and four are in the ICU on ventilator support. With one more patient died from the pandemic in Dimapur, the death toll remained at 661, the bulletin said.
