Kohima: In the latest COVID-19 situation in Nagaland, the number has decreased to a single number to three new cases yesterday, which increased the total number of corona virus-infected cases to 31,938 so far and with no report of any death in the pandemic, the death toll remained at 689.
According to a Nagaland Health Department bulletin today, among the three fresh COVID cases yesterday, the new cases were detected from one district of Nagaland, with all cases reported in Dimapur, taking the total caseload to 31,938. Nagaland had a total of 1,047 COVID patients, who have migrated from other states so far.
On the recovery of COVID-19 infected patients in the State, altogether 13 patients were recovered from the pandemic in the state yesterday, taking the cumulative total of recovered cases to 30,021 with a recovery rate of 93.99 per cent.
Nagaland currently has 181 active cases of COVID-19, out of which 149 patients were asymptomatic, 19 were mild symptoms, five were moderate symptoms, three were severe symptoms and five were on ventilators in the ICU. With no more reports of the death of COVID patients, the death tally remained at 689 during the day.
