Kohima: The increasing order of COVID-19 continued in Nagaland, today it has recorded 244 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, which increased the total number of COVID- 19 cases in the state to 18,958.
Nagaland Health Minister Pangnyu Phom said today that among the fresh 244 cases, the highest 115 in Dimapur, followed by 88 in Kohima, 12 in Mokokchung, 12 in Zunheboto, five in Longleng, five in Wokha, three in Mon, two in Peren, one in Kiphire and one in Phek.
In recoveries, a total of 215 more patients recovered in Nagaland today, which comprises 152 in Dimapur, 47 in Kohima, six in Mokokchung, four in Phek, three in Zunheboto, one in Kiphire, one in Peren and one in Tuensang, Phom said.
The total number of cases has now reached 18, 958, of which the active cases are 4425 and a total of 13,706 people have recovered, while COVID-related death rose to 224.
