Nagaland records 17 new COVID positive cases

According to a Nagaland Health Department bulletin today, among the 17 fresh COVID cases yesterday, the new cases were detected from four districts of Nagaland with seven cases reported in Kohima, six cases in Dimapur and two in Kiphire, two in Phek, taking the total caseload to 30780.

Kohima: In the latest COVID-19 situation in Nagaland, the number has decreased to 17 new cases, which has increased the total number of corona virus-infected cases to 30,780 so far and with four more deaths, the death toll rose to 652.

According to a Nagaland Health Department bulletin today, among the 17 fresh COVID cases yesterday, the new cases were detected from four districts of Nagaland with seven cases reported in Kohima, six cases in Dimapur and two in Kiphire, two in Phek, taking the total caseload to 30780.

On the recovery of COVID-19 patients in the State, a total of 48 new recoveries were reported throughout, out of the 21 patients from Dimapur, nine in Kohima, five in Mokokchung, five in Mon, five in Phek and one in Longleng and the total number of recovery is 28, 715.

In Nagaland there were 471 active cases, among the active cases, out of which 80 are asymptomatic, 11 are mild symptomatic, 11 are moderate on oxygen, five are severe on oxygen, three are in ICU without ventilators and five are on ventilators.

There are reports of four COVID-19 related deaths in Nagaland, three in Dimapur and one in Kohima and the death figure increased to 652, the bulletin informed.
