Nagaland records 12 new COVID positive cases

The active cases in Nagaland are positioned at 222, out of which 21 are currently admitted in different COVID hospitals, while 182 are under home isolation.

Kohima: Nagaland recorded 12 new Covid cases yesterday, taking the tally to 31,759 so far and with no more death reports, the toll remained at 681.

According to a Nagaland Health Department bulletin today, among the 12 fresh COVID cases yesterday, the new cases were detected from four districts of Nagaland, with eight cases in Dimapur, two cases in Phek, one in Kohima and one in Mokokchung, taking the total caseload 31,759 and the positivity rate came to 1.83 per cent.

On the recovery of COVID-19 infected patients in the State, 15 recoveries were reported on Wednesday with ten from Dimapur, two from Kohima, two from Longleng and one from Phek, which took the recovery tally to 29,822. The recovery rate among COVID-19 patients in the state turned to 93.90 per cent.
