Nagaland records 10 new Covid cases

The state has an active caseload of 30, out of which 16 are asymptomatic, 12 are mild symptoms, and two are admitted to ICUs.

Kohima: With the gradual rise of Covid 19 cases throughout the country, on Wednesday as 10 more people tested positive for the infection out of 73 samples tested, taking the total of the Covid19 tally rose to 35,883, with 30 active cases.

On the death list of Nagaland Covid 19 patients in the state, with the report of no more patients succumbing to the coronavirus in the state yesterday, with earlier deaths, the total death toll remained at 771.

According to the official bulletin today, the fresh 10 new COVID cases were reported yesterday with five cases in Dimapur, four cases in Kohima district, and one case in Mon, pushing the tally to 35,7883.

A total of eight more patients have recovered in the last 24 hours, of them three from Mon, two from Longleng, two from Mokokchung, and one from Dimapur, taking the total number of recoveries to 33,568.

In the district-wise distribution of active cases are nine in Kohima, nine in Dimapur, three in Zunheboto, three in Wokha, two in Mokokchung, one in Phek, one in Kiphire, one in Longleng, and one in Mon, the report added.
