Kohima: Nagaland recorded 266 cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, the highest in the current year, taking the total number of cases to 14,717.

Nagaland Minister for Health and Family Welfare Pangnyu Phom in his regular tweet said 162 cases were recorded in Dimapur, 71 cases in Kohima, 11 cases in Tuensang, eight cases in Mon, four cases in Peren, four cases in Mokokchung, three cases in Longleng, one case in Kiphire, one case in Phek and one case in Zunheboto.

He also said that altogether 32 COVID-19 positive patients recovered in the past day, bringing the total recovery to 12,357.
