Nagaland detects 226 COVID-19 positive cases

Kohima: COVID-19 cases in Nagaland continued to grow on Friday as there were 226 new detected today, highest single day spike in the current year, taking the total number of positive cases in the state to 13, 976.

Nagaland Health and Family Welfare Minister Pangnyu Phom in his regular tweet informed that there were 226 new COVID-19 positive cases in Nagaland today and these cases are, 137 cases in Dimapur, 74 case in Kohima, 10 cases in Tuensang, two cases in Wokha, one case in Mon, one case in Peren and one case in Zunheboto. He also informed that altogether 12 COVID-19 positive patients were recovered today and they are eight patients from Dimapur, two patients from Kohima and two patients from Mokokchung.

Pangnyu further tweeted that the total positive cases increased to 13976; total recovered patients increased to 12224, total Active Cases rose up to 1261, as of today.
