Kolhapur: Maharashtra defeated Lakshadweep by four goals in ‘F’ group football matches of 77th Santosh Trophy Tournament being played at Chhatrapati Shahu stadium here on Sunday.
While other two matches between Telengana and Andhra Pradesh and Andman & Nicobar and Tripura ended in a draw.
Continuing their good performance, Maharashtra subdued Lakshadweep by four goals in its second match.
In first fixture, Maharashtra had beaten Andman & Nicobar by eight goals.
In afternoon session, two matches between Telengana and Andhra Pradesh and Andman & Nicobar and Tripura ended in a draw.
