Aizawl: Governor Haribabu Kambhampati of Mizoram and Lady Governor Jayashree Kambhampati called on President Ram Nath Kovind at the Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi on Saturday.
Governor Dr Haribabu Kambhampati is the 22nd Governor of the Mizoram State. He was sworn in as the new Governor succeeding Governor Pillai on July 19, 2021. This was Governor Haribabu’s maiden trip to the national capital and his first audience with the head of the country President Ram Nath Kovind. The President and his guest shared a warm discussion on various important topics for the state. Governor and Lady Governor also gifted Mizo Shawls and exotic fruits from Mizoram to the President.
