Mizoram CM Zoramthanga inspects several ongoing projects

Chief Minister Zoramthanga, while addressing the public at Zokhawthar village announced that a maximum number of the ongoing projects will soon be completed if the Covid -19 pandemic situation supplemented by vaccination drive improves in the state.

Champhai: Chief Minister Zoramthanga inspected various ongoing as well as proposed developmental projects, spending the whole day Thursday visiting the border village of Zokhawthar, Melbuk, Zotlang, Ruantlang, Tlangsam and within Champhai town.

Chief Minister Zoramthanga, while addressing the public at Zokhawthar village announced that a maximum number of the ongoing projects will soon be completed if the Covid -19 pandemic situation supplemented by vaccination drive improves in the state.

Zoramthanga in this tour inspected Zotlang Truck Terminal, road constructions under World Bank Projects, infrastructures within Indo-Myanmar Border Trade Township of Melbuk village, ongoing construction of several components of Land Customs Station at Zokhawthar, Police stations and school buildings, DIET complex at Champhai, Lersia Field at Ruantlang, Zotlang Stadium, construction of Ring road around Champhai, Women Polytechnic building at Champhai, ongoing works of Dam Reservoir and Recreation Centre on the River Keilungliah under NLCPR and several other project sites.

The Chief Minister who arrived in Champhai on March 24, immediately conducted an inspection of the district hospital, Champhai Kanan subsidence area, etc. TJ Lalnuntluanga, Minister of State as well as the incumbent MLA from South Champhai Constituency and Dr ZR Thiamsanga, MLA from North Champhai as well as Vice-Chairman,  Health & Family Welfare Board accompanied the Chief Minister.
