Imphal: John Barla, Minister of state, Minority Affairs arrived here today on an official visit for inspection of projects under PMJVK which were taken up in Churachandpur, Kangpokpi, Senapati and Ukhrul districts.
The Minister will tour the district from Oct 7 to 10. John Barla was welcomed on his arrival by Ministers Oinam Lukhoi Singh, Vungzagin Valte.
John Barla called on Chief Minister N.Biren Singh and discussed the issues faced by the minorities. Barla will first inspect the projects in Churachandpur on Oct 7, in Senapati district on Oct 8 and in Ukhrul district on Oct 9.
