Imphal: Water Resource and Relief & Disaster Management Minister, Awangbow Newmai said that the government is looking forward to a peaceful solution in connection with the Singda Dam boundary land demarcation issue.
Minister Awangbow also assured that he is very optimistic that the matter will settle down in due course of time by properly finding out the owners of the conflict-torn area and referring the 1960 revenue map. The conflict around the boundary of the government land concerning the dam has been raised by Geljiang and Ireng residents.
