Imphal: Heikham Dingo Singh, Manipur’s Minister for Skills, Labour, Employment, and Entrepreneurship, met with Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Jayant Chaudhary, at Kaushal Bhavan in New Delhi on Monday.
During their meeting, Minister Dingo Singh engaged in an extensive discussion about various skill development and employment challenges in the state. He urged Minister Chaudhary to establish a Skill Development University to benefit the unemployed youth of Manipur.
Additionally, he highlighted the difficulties faced by internally displaced persons (IDPs) living in relief camps and requested the Union Minister to announce special skill development and employment programs tailored to their needs.
