Shillong: Meghalaya Director General of Police (DGP), R Chandranathan have tested positive for COVID-19, health official said on Monday.
“The DGP has tested positive for COVID-19 on Saturday and have started medication for the same. Doctors from Shillong civil hospital are monitoring the health of the police chief,” Health and Family Welfare Minister, Alexander Laloo Hek said.
Chandranathan is under home quarantine.
