Noney: District Administration, Noney organised Meeyamgi Numit or People’s Day at the Multi Purpose Hall in Noney District Head quarter on Tuesday.
To address the grievances and for smooth interaction of general public and with the government department, eighteen various stalls from different departments under Noney District such as Police, department, PHED, SDO Haochong, Veterinary department, Noney SDO, Medical department, Forest department, MSRLM, Khoupum SDO, Cooperative, Agriculture department, Fishery department, DIC Noney, OSC Noney, Education department, Horticulture & Soil Conservation and Handlom and Textiles were put up during the programme. Noney DC Dr Sharath Chandra Arroju inspected the stalls before commencing the programme.
The Agriculture Department distributed 20 Micro Fertilizer bottles to fifteen beneficiaries through Noney DC Sharath Chandra Arroju, IAS, in the presence of Noney ADM Stiff Khapudang, Noney SP N. Peter Kamei, and other DLOs.
Social Welfare Department under the aegis of Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India has also launched a mass signature campaign against drugs, Nasha Mukat Bharat Abhiyaan at the event.
