Imphal: In the last 24 hours leading up to 5 pm of Monday, four persons tested positive. During the same period, two persons recovered while there was no report of any Covid-related death in the state, as per an official release from the Health Department.
Of the four persons who tested positive, two are from Imphal West and one each from Kamjong and Bishnupur. Altogether, 159 persons were tested amounting to a positivity rate of 2.5 %.
The cumulative number of positive cases in the state now stands at 1, 39, 846 and active cases in the state are 18.
As on October 16, 2022, 293 persons were vaccinated, bringing the total number of vaccination to 32,47,204 (1st dose 16,45,910, 2nd dose 13,30,291 and precautionary dose 2,71,003).
