Imphal: In the last 24 hours leading up to 5 pm of Monday in Manipur, five persons tested positive while 13 persons recovered, as per an official release from the Health Department.
Of the five persons who tested positive, four are from Churachandpur and one from Imphal West. Altogether, 454 persons were tested amounting to a positivity rate of 1.1 %.
Meanwhile, 13 persons, recovered, 11 from home isolation and one each from JNIMS and CAPF. The recovery rate of the state as of Friday stands at 98.42 %.
The cumulative number of positive cases in the state now stands at 1, 39, 682 of which 1, 37,479 have recovered leaving 57 active cases in the state.
As on August 28, 2022, 144 D-type oxygen cylinders and 34 B-type oxygen cylinders have been made available at different health facilities in Manipur.
The status of Covid Hospital facilities in the state as on August 29, 2022, is as follows: JNIMS has a total of 38 beds out of which two are occupied and 36 are vacant. RIMS has a total of 62 beds out of which five are occupied and 57 are vacant.
The total number of doses administered on August 28, is 814 the cumulative number of doses administered is 31,72,644 1st dose 16,28,282, 2nd dose 13,02,414) and the precautionary dose is 2,42,949.
