Imphal: Manipur logged one death, 92 new positive cases and 151 recoveries in the last 24 hours leading up to 5 pm of Monday, as per an official release from the Health Department.
The lone person who succumbed to the deadly virus was from Bishnupur. He had co-morbidities and had been vaccinated with the 2nd dose. The cumulative death toll in the state now stands at 2084.
Of the 92 persons from the general population who tested positive, 36 are from Imphal West, 19 from Imphal East, nine Bishnupur Thoubal, six from Tamenglong, three from Senapati, two each from Kakching, Chandel and Churachandpur and one each from Ukhrul, Tengnoupal and Noney. Altogether 1,609 persons were tested which amounted to a positivity rate of 5.7 %
Meanwhile, 151 persons recovered and were discharged, 96 from home isolation, 42 from CCCs, nine from JNIMS and four from RIMS. The recovery rate of the state stands at 96.84 %.
The cumulative number of positive cases in the state now stands at 1, 35, 930 out of which 1, 31, 637 have recovered, leaving 2,209 active cases.
The total number of doses administered on February 13, 2022, is 2,560, the cumulative number of doses administered is 26,31,290 (1st dose 14,85,325, 2nd dose 10,96,325) and precautionary dose 49,796.
