Manipur records 732 coronavirus cases, 13 deaths

The recovery rate of Covid-19 patients in Manipur is 82.51 per cent, which is slightly dipper than the previous day at 82.57 per cent.

Imphal: Manipur recorded as many as 732 fresh coronavirus cases on Friday. With this, the tally of COVID-19 cases in the state has reached over 47,843, while the death toll mounted to 761. As many as 13 fatalities have been recorded in the last 24 hours, according to the latest bulletin issued by the Delhi health department.

On Thursday, 812 positive cases and 18 deaths were recorded.

Two persons each at District Hospital Thubal, Bishnupur, Shija Hospital,  one at DH Ukhrul, four at RIMS and two at JNIMS expired.

With 579 persons were discharged during the past 24 hours, the cumulative number of recovered cases is 39,480. The recovery rate of Covid-19 patients in Manipur is 82.51 per cent, which is slightly dipper than the previous day at 82.57 per cent. The number of active cases rose to 7,602.

As per the latest information, the total number of persons who were vaccinated Friday is 2845 only, which is far lesser than the previous day at 11862.

A total of 1580 D-type Oxygen Cylinders and 592 B-type Oxygen Cylinders have been made available to different health institutions and health facilities of Manipur.
