Imphal: Manipur Police on Thursday nabbed a man identified as Jampao Haokip with suspected opium of 2.216 kg and poppy seed of 4.40 kg from his house at Churachandpur district.
Police said a regular case was registered for further investigation.
Meanwhile, police also nabbed two persons on Thursday identified as Khailinii Chao and PB Saleo from Senapati bazaar along with a four wheeler which was reportedly stolen.
Senapati District Police recovered one stolen Bolero vehicle bearing Registration No. MN-05-A-5277, white in colour, engine no. GAA4D82808 and chassis no. MAIPS2GAKAD7844 from the possession of the two persons.
The recovered vehicle and the arrested persons were handed over to Lamsang PS by the Senapati District Police for further action, said a press note from the PRO, Manipur Police.
