Imphal: Noney continued the second day of the Swachhata Hi Seva 2024 Campaign with programmes which included art exhibition/wall painting at Lukhambi petrol pump and in other prominent other areas of the district.
The District Handlooms and Textiles Department also took keen part in carrying out the campaign on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, a BLOs training was also held at the Conference Hall of the DC Office, Longmai, Noney.
The other activities include mass scale cleanliness drives in public spaces. The overall action and supervision was taken by Executive Engineer PHED in coordination with local CSOs and NGOs.
The programme was attended by ZEO Noney Xavier Longmei, CMO Dr. Zianthuilung Kamei, Executive Engineer PHED Thanchui Panmei, DCO (District Cooperative Officer) D. Dongaingam. SDOs, SDCs, DLOs, members from various NGOs, officials and staff of the DC Office.
The Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign will be held from the September 17 to October 2, 2024.
