Imphal: Thokchom Lokeshwar Singh, MLA, met the outgoing Governor, Anusuiya Uikey, at Raj Bhavan on Monday, expressing gratitude for her unwavering service to the people of Manipur.
He praised her role as the Constitutional Head of the State, highlighting her paramount efforts in restoring peace and normalcy. Governor Uikey visited various relief camps, providing support to displaced individuals, demonstrating her deep concern for their grievances and difficulties. Lokeshwar Singh wished her a healthy and long life ahead.
Security Advisor to the Government of Manipur, Kuldiep Singh, and Director General of Police, Manipur, Rajiv Singh, also met with Governor Uikey at Raj Bhavan. They commended her dedicated service and initiatives in restoring peace in the state.
In turn, the Governor lauded the officers’ commitment to restoring peace and encouraged them to continue making decisions in the best interest of the people of Manipur.
