Thoubal: As part of the Swacch Bharat 2.0,Clean India 2022 campaign a mega cleanliness drive was held Wednesday at the premises of District Hospital, Thoubal, Khangabok Hr.sec and adjoining areas.
The cleanliness drive was jointly organised by District Administration, Indian Red Cross society, District Health Society, NCC & NSS Unit of Khangabok Higher Secondary, NYK and TMC.
The cleanliness drive began at around 6AM. The staff of District Health Society Thoubal & TMC, volunteers of NYK ,IRS and students of Khangabok Hr. Sec participated in cleanliness drive. As part of the drive students of Khangabok Hr.sec performed plog run on the street District Hospital,Thoubal.
Clean India Campaign is a National level campaign organised by the Government of India covering more than 4000 statutory towns to clean the roads and infrastructures of the country. This campaign aims to make India an open defecation-free country in five years.
