Imphal: No Covid related death was reported in Manipur in the last 24 hours leading up to 5 pm of Wednesday. During the same period, six persons from the general population tested positive while four persons recovered and were discharged, as per an official release from the Health Department.
Of the six person who tested positive, three are from Imphal East and one each from Churachandpur, Imphal West and Kangpokpi. A total of 532 persons were tested amounting to a positivity rate of 1.1 %.
Meanwhile, four persons recovered and were discharged, three of them from home isolation and one from CCCs. The recovery rate in the state now stands at 98.43 %
The cumulative number of positive cases in the state now stands at 1, 37, 093 out of which 1, 34, 935 have recovered leaving 38 active cases.
The total number of doses administered on March 29, is 2,279, the cumulative number of doses administered is 27,84,162 (1st dose 15,37, 558, 2nd dose 11,80, 952 ) and precautionary dose 65,652.
