Imphal: Manipur’s bodybuilder Prabinchand Chingtham was given a grand welcome by the members of the Imphal West Student’s Club, Khumbong (IWSC) on Thursday.
Chingtham secured 1st Runners up (Silver medal)and 2nd Runners up (Bronze medal), in the Men’s Classic Physique under 75 kg and Men’s open Denim Model respectively.
He also got selected in the top 10 list of the Men’s Physique, which was organised by the United Intercontinental Bodybuilding Fitness Federation (UIBFF). The competition was held recently at the Talkatora Stadium, New Delhi on 23 – 24 February of 2024.
A reception programme was held in his honour at the club premises in the presence of former Lok Sabha MP Dr. Thokchom Meinya, and senior citizens including Konjengbam Guni Leima, Konthoujam Jina Devi, Uppa-Pradhan Ngairangbam G.P., Laishram Sanatombi Devi, Moidangpok G.P.
The Club also presented simple gifts to Prabinchand Chingtham, a statement released by Oinam Hemanta Jeet Singh, Secretary, IWSC, said.
