Imphal: Governor of Manipur La Ganesan visited Monday, the ambush casualties at Shija hospitals, Langol and Assam Rifles Multispecialty Hospital of Head Quarter Inspector General Assam Rifles (South), Mantripukhri.
Governor Ganesan interacted with the injured personnel, enquired about their health condition, gave presents and wished them for quick recovery.
Presently, four injured personnel are undergoing treatment at General Male Medicine Ward and one at ICU of Shija Hospital and one personnel at AR Multispecialty Hospital of IGAR (South).
Mention may be made that the unfortunate incident was took placed at around 1000 hours on Saturday in Singhat Sub-Division, Churachandpur District and killed the Commanding Officer, 46 Assam Rifles with his wife and son and four other Quick Reaction Team (QRT).
