Imphal: Manipur Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla chaired a meeting at Raj Bhavan on Wednesday. The meeting comprehensively reviewed the progress of ongoing national highway projects in the state.
During the meeting, M.S. Deval, Executive Director of National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL), provided a detailed briefing on the current status of various national highway projects under construction in different parts of Manipur.
He also highlighted key challenges affecting project execution. The Governor directed the officials to implement necessary measures to address these challenges and ensure timely completion of the projects.
IG CRPF Rajendra Narayan Das, Additional PCCF, and Secretary, Manipur Land Resources Department, attended the meeting.
On the same day, members of the Red Cross, Senapati District Branch, called on the Governor of Manipur at Raj Bhavan, Imphal. The members apprised the Governor of the key challenges they face while carrying out their humanitarian duties in the region.
Governor Bhalla appreciated the members for their dedicated humanitarian efforts and assured them that their concerns would be addressed.
