Imphal: On Thursday, selected Assistant Professors of Dhanamanjuri University, Imphal, sought the intervention of Manipur Governor Anusuiya Uikey regarding the delay in receiving their appointment letters.
Representatives of the 83 selected professors met with Governor Uikey at Raj Bhavan to express their grievances. They informed her that although the selection results were announced in February this year, they have yet to receive their offer letters from the university.
The representatives requested the Governor’s assistance in expediting the process. Governor Uikey assured them that she would urge the concerned authorities to take the necessary actions promptly, in the best interest of the state’s teaching community.
