Imphal: District Magistrate, Bishnupur has instructed all the officials posted in the district to stay at their place of posting.
Further, they are to stay in the government accommodation in the Sub-Division/Block of their respective posting, if available, and in the absence of government accommodation, they may stay at a rented place and seek reimbursement of the rent subsequently, with rates of rent to be vetted by Finance Department, said a statement issued by the Additional Deputy Commissioner, here on Tuesday.
The order also instructed them to ensure regular attendance of office and remain within the district jurisdiction. If any DLO or other officials required to travel out of their district/Sub-Division/Block of posting, it is mandatory to seek prior permission from the Deputy Commissioner.
If any officials are found absent from their places of posting, it will be immediately brought to the notice of the Chief Secretary, Government of Manipur, it added.
Further, all District Level Officers should make necessary arrangements for the installation of the Biometric Attendance System immediately and shall also consult with the Director (IT) for linking data flow to Central Server for regular monitoring at State Level.
Also, countersignature of the Deputy Commissioner on all salary bills (Authorisation Slip) of DLOs should be obtained which will be linked to the attendance recorded in the Biometric Attendance System once it is installed.
