Kaushambi (UP): A 54-year-old man was beaten to death allegedly by his son over a petty dispute in Paschim Sarira area of Kaushambi district here in Uttar Pradesh, police sources said here.
Police sources said that Asharfilal, a resident of Kharauna village had a dispute with his son Sunil late on Monday night. “During this Sunil attacked his father with a cane and assaulted him brutally due to which Asharfilal died,” they said.
Police sources said that after getting the information the police reached the spot on Tuesday morning and detained Sunil. “The body has been sent for post mortem. It is being said that Sunil used to work in Surat in Gujarat and had come home a day before the incident,” they said.
